Hello Theater Goers!
Today we are going to the Children's Theater in Minneapolis to watch DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. Many of you have read books in this series or have seen the movie. It will be so cool to see how the actors portray this familiar series.
A few things to consider... There will be noises that may startle some of you. Remember! You are safe, and the noises are part of the production. Of course, it is natural to react... but you do not need to OVER REACT!!! Also, there may be language that most of you have heard a bazillion times and even say yourselves... again, no need to OVER REACT!
While we are at the theater, be thinking of the sound or light lessons you recently had. What connections can you make to how a theater uses sounds and light to entertain us. How the the play be different if the sound was different? Or, if all the lights were on and there weren't different colored lights?
