Hello 3rd Grade Friends!
Today we are celebrating friendships, kindness, and empathy. Some of us are very good at being friendly, outgoing, and making friends. Some of us though, are reserved and shy... and making new friends can be hard or even stressful. And some of us are in between. We've all been in a situation where we didn't know any familiar faces. We've all also been in a situation when a new face came into our communities. How do we take care of ourselves and others?
Celebrating friends is important. We should show appreciation and kindness to others. The way to make friends is to be a friend. No matter what, be kind... it really does make a difference in people's lives!
