Hello PYP Students!
This week we have begun I Love to Read Month! It is so great to take time to find a book that suits you, to sit and read, and to share your reading with others.
We have a fantastic opportunity to practice the PYP ACTION CYCLE as part of I Love to Read Month. Remember, the cycle is reflecting, choosing, and acting. We've been reflecting on how important reading is not just for learning but also for fun. Some of you choose to be reading buddies with others in the hallway every morning... and you act on that by coming to school on time ready to meet with your buddy.
Ms. Sanford is coming around to the third grade classes this morning looking for more reading buddies. She needs 24 third graders to spend time in the morning reading with kindergarteners. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, listen carefully when she comes to your room. She will explain what you have to do to be considered!!
